EVERYONE! <3
AND
I know it's been a while so for those of you who requested a RECAP I will post that first.
Although this 'brief recap' is three pages long, it does not cover every detail of the story. Hopefully as you read this recap different portions of previous updates come flooding back to you. I am so sorry for the long delay so without further ado I present the (not so brief) brief recap! :D
BRIEF RECAP
Ram is a stout businessman who grew up in
America away from his family. When he was 10 years old Ram’s father, Amarnath
had sent him off to boarding school as a method of discipline. Ram’s mother
Krishna was strongly opposed to the idea of sending Ram away but Amarnath was
not the least bit interested in what she had to say. He had a business to
operate and with Ram constantly acting out, it was hard for him to concentrate
on expanding his profits.
Ram’s Dada-ji, whom he was very close to,
passed away when he was just five years old. And as Ram explained to Priya in a
heartfelt apology letter that he wrote after he had kissed her, Ram held his
father responsible for his Dada-ji’s death.
Priya was five years old when her parents
died in a car crash. She was also in the
vehicle but somehow she had managed to survive the crash without a scratch on
her body. In the hospital, before her father Jeet took his last breath, he
handed her over to Sudhir asking him to take care of her in his absence. At that time Sudhir and Amarnath were not only
best friends but business partners as well. Priya’s father worked in the same
company garnering a lot of respect from his superiors and advising them in
their decisions. Sudhir was extremely apologetic in the hospital. He had
consumed a few drinks after work and was on his way home in a tipsy state when
the accident occurred. Although, his role in the actual accident is still
unclear, we know that he was sorry about something. If he was not sorry about
causing the accident then what exactly did his apology to Jeet mean? After the
accident, Sudhir and Amarnath grew apart, becoming enemies. The reason is yet
to be revealed. Sudhir resigned from Kapoor Industries and went on to lead a
mediocre lifestyle raising his family on a middle class paycheck. It seems as though Shipra holds Priya
responsible for everything that has happened to her once rich and well-off
family. However, Sudhir has stood by Priya like a shield not allowing any harm
to come her way, whether it is from his wife or anyone else for that matter.
Priya gives Sudhir the same amount of respect. In fact, she has allowed Ram to
get away with poking fun at her character on numerous occasions. But the one
time Ram spoke ill of Sudhir, he earned himself a tight slap, which he had
never seen coming.
As destiny would have it, Siddhant, Ram’s
older brother and Ayesha, Priya’s older sister had a chance encounter, which
quickly blossomed into love. It was only after they professed their love for
one another did they realize that their fathers were enemies. Blinded by their
egos, both Sudhir and Amarnath refused to accept Ayesha and Siddhant’s
relationship. Amarnath put the final
nail in the coffin when he filled Ayesha’s mind with lies about Sid having an
affair with Sheena, his business partner Mittal’s daughter. By that time Ayesha
was in too deep. She was pregnant with her first child and so broken heartedly
she decided to run away from home, not wanting to risk the shame her family
would have to endure due to her grave mistake. Being forced by his father for
the sake of business, Siddhant reluctantly agreed to marry Sheena.
Sheena and Sid eventually became friends
disclosing to each other that they both loved someone else. Sheena’s boyfriend
Raj was too poor in her father’s eyes to be considered as a suitable mate. So
Sid decided to help Raj get on his feet and Sheena encouraged Sid to find
Ayesha. Sheena and Raj backstabbed
Siddhant. When everything was settled Siddhant was heading to the court to
submit his divorce papers when his brakes failed. It just so happened that
Priya, who was still secretly in touch with Ayesha, stumbled upon Sid and
rushed him to a nearby hospital. To Sid’s surprise when he woke up in the hospital
a pregnant Ayesha was sitting by his side.
He realized that Sheena had something to do with his attempted murder;
nobody else knew where he was heading. Leaving all that in the past, Sid
decided to move forward with Ayesha and his unborn child. Everyone assumed that
he was dead and he was perfectly fine with that. Priya helped Sid and Ayesha
financially so Sid would not have to leave their small apartment risking being
caught. However, one day with Ayesha’s delivery fast approaching, Sid decided
to go out to the market to grab a few last minute things. When he returned
home, the whole place had been ransacked and Ayesha lay on the floor injured.
Priya had no choice but to tell Shipra and Sudhir, unable to fix this one on
her own. Ayesha gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Kush right before
slipping into a comatose state. Now Sid wants revenge, he wants to know who did
this to his family and Priya equally enraged vows to help.
Ram was in America during Sid and Sheena’s
marriage, he only returned hearing of his brother’s sudden death. Sheena filled
his ears with nonsense against Ayesha, putting all the blame on her. Krishna
remained in her room, a mess after losing her eldest son. Amarnath was hit the
hardest having done all that he did.
Drowning himself in liquor he hoped it would somehow ease his guilt. Ram
had no choice but to step up to the plate and handle the business in India, at
least until his father snapped out of his grief. Six months passed by at a snails pace and Ram
had had enough. He wanted to avenge his brother’s death for the sake of his broken
family. Ayesha was presumed dead to the world so Ram went after the next best
thing, Priya.
Making it impossible for Priya to get a job
elsewhere Ram ensured that she would work under him. Sid advised Priya to go
along with the plan. Sheena had filled Ram’s heart with poison and in order to
get to her, they needed to first subdue her greatest weapon against them.
Ram tried his level best to make Priya’s
life a living hell but his father would not allow it. Returning to work, he
promoted Priya from Ram’s assistant to his partner on projects. This only
worked to infuriate Ram further.
Ram assumed Kush was Priya’s illegitimate
child but from the moment Krishna met him, she knew that he was her grandson.
In fact, she asked Priya if Kush was Sid and Ayesha’s son but Priya neither
confirmed nor denied her suspicion. Suddenly Krishna too had found a reason to
live again and that reason was Kush. It
made Ram angry to see that Priya was able to do in 3 or so weeks what he had
failed to do in the past 6 months. Even his best buddy Vikram treated Priya
like a little sister, not allowing Ram to enact his reckless plans.
Sticking his nose in Priya’s personal affairs
Ram eventually found out that Sid and Ayesha were both alive and that Kush was
their son. He couldn’t believe that his beloved bhabhi was behind Sid and
Ayesha’s accident. When he overheard Sheena confessing her sins to her
boyfriend over the phone, he was in a state of shock.
Priya and Ram decided to pretend as though
they were in love in an attempt to get Sheena to slip up and reveal her true
identity. However, the love that they tried to portray fell pale in comparison
to their unsuppressed hatred for each other.
Somewhere amongst their constant bickering
Kush was kidnapped. Priya blamed Ram, thinking that he had something to do with
her baby’s disappearance. Enraged Ram proposed that if he found Kush and was
able to prove that he had nothing to do with his kidnapping then she would have
to marry him. Out of her senses Priya agreed.
Priya ended up losing the bet. Vikram and a
stack of documents were Ram’s alibi for the morning that Kush went missing
while she was at the office. Vikram was explaining Ram’s reasoning behind the
idea to get married to Priya when Ram called her on her cellphone. Ram notified
her that Kush was right under their noses the whole time in Gupta’s apartment.
In the process of rescuing Kush, Priya was drugged. It seemed that the
kidnapper used Kush as bait and that Priya was the intended target. Ram reached
in the nick of time before the kidnapper could seriously harm Priya or Kush. Someone
had warned the kidnapper over the phone and he escaped before Ram got there.
Priya was admitted to the same hospital
where her parents died. She had to stay the night to be monitored. After
everyone left to go home, Priya ran away. Having Ram’s number on file the
doctor notified him first. Ram searched for Priya and ended up finding her
calling out for a rickshaw in the pouring rain. After the yelling and shouting
formalities were over, Priya disclosed the reason why she couldn’t stay a night
at that hospital. And for a split second it seemed as though Ram was genuinely
sympathetic. He offered her a ride home
and his jacket. Wrapping herself in it Priya stumbled upon a legal marriage
document that bared her signature. Ram
confessed that he had tricked her into signing the documents stating that his
brother’s life was worth too much to place in her hands. Priya was more disappointed than angry, if
Ram had given her a chance she would have gladly signed her life away for Kush
and Ayesha’s sake. Using Ayesha’s name Ram blackmailed Priya into going along
with his plan without any further arguments. She helplessly obliged putting her
pride and hurt to the side and focusing on the issue at hand. Convincing Sudhir
that she could take care of herself, Priya and Kush left for the KM.
PRESENT SCENES
Ram. Priya. And their love! (Need I say more)
They're together. But why hide out? Why are they afraid of these moments coming to an end? There is always talk about the limited time they have left to spend in each others company.
